New Stuff
I haven’t found any of these myself, but many people are finding clearance baking supplies – Domino Sugar, Karo Syrup, Clabber Girl, Keebler Pie Crusts, Crisco Sticks, Sunmaid Raisins and Libby’s Pumpkin, to name a few. All are well under $1 and would make super fabulous fillers.

Old Stuff
Since I do this for you, I listen to your suggestions. In recent weeks, more than a handful of you have mentioned that you saw a deal elsewhere and thought I must not have it in the match-ups only to go back through the match-ups and see it there. Sheesh…I hope THAT makes sense. Hah! Here’s my attempt at solving that problem. I’m going to highlight deals that I think are particularly good in BLUE. Why blue? Don’cha know? There are approximately 832 participating locations in this 20 Dozen Doughnut giveaway at Dunkin’ Donuts. If you’re feeling especially ambitious tomorrow (1/1/12) and you live in a participating state (NY, MA, ME, VT, NH or RI), you may want to try your luck at getting a free dozen doughnuts. The first 20 people in line, in store or at a window, will receive them. The 20 Dozen Promotion officially begins somewhere around 7am EST or whatever time your location opens tomorrow and ends at 11:59:59pm EST or when all are given out. New Stuff
The markdowns continue! All Christmas decorations are 50% or better off, as are fragrance gift sets. And speaking of markdowns, many of you are reporting 50% off small appliances – Crock Pots & Coffeemakers seem to be the big ones at $7.49. Pantene, Herbal Essences, Head & Shoulders and Aussie products are all being spotted as well. Grocery items include Del Monte 4pk Fruit Cups, Pringles, Dunkin Donuts Christmas coffee packages, to name a few. Check out the coupon database for a list of available coupons for these items and be sure to take them with you when you shop. These are being reported as FREE or BETTER in many cases.

Two promotions continue this week:

Buy $30 in select products get $10 CVSCash Card. The coupon for the cash card prints immediately following the purchase of qualifying products. Also, the match-ups kick off with this deal and Pampers can be very cheap with the right set of coupons.

Also, since many of us have healthier aspirations in the New Year, CVS is helping out by offering a free CVS Glass Scale with the purchase of $30 in participating products. They’re listed below, and a deal idea as well.

Old Stuff

CVS has also released a new corporate coupon policy. Make sure you print a copy and take it with you when you shop. The most notable change is not in the policy at all, but available on the CVS website. They no longer accept coupons for use on a free item. This restricts our usage on BOGO sales now to only one CVS coupon and one manufacturer coupon on the paid item only.

Since I do this for you, I listen carefully to your suggestions. In recent weeks, more than a handful of you have mentioned that you saw a deal elsewhere and thought I must not have it in the match-ups only to go back through the match-ups and see it there. Sheesh…I hope THAT makes sense. Hah! Here’s my attempt at solving that problem. I’m going to highlight deals that I think are particularly good in BLUE. Why blue? Don’cha know? I’m outta colors! :) You know I color code everything to the moon. So when you see something BLUE, it’s worth noticing ~ above and beyond the regular MM, Freebies and green deal ideas.

I am now ONLY using online prices in my match-ups. I had been using my actual store prices, but that proved equally frustrating for many people. While I realize that online prices are also frustrating, they’re relatively accurate for some. Since they’re about the same in that regard, it’s easier to use online prices! For new items not yet in their online store, I will continue to use my store prices.

This list includes all the items under $1, most of the ECB deals and many, MANY more. Because I’m still doing most of the ad, every link isn’t tested, as I don’t buy everything that’s on sale and I’m too cheap to waste the ink. Let me know if one doesn’t work, if my math has taken a nose dive or I’ve missed a rule somewhere.

The more I look at this, the better it gets, so lemme explain. Saveology has a deal right now where you can purchase $5 Saveology Dollars for use on a future purchase for just $1. In addition, for purchasing this deal, you’ll be entered to win two tickets to the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis on 2/5/12 including two night hotel accommodation for two AND round trip transportation from any US airport.

In looking around, I don’t see any exclusion to using Saveology Dollars to purchase some gift card deals like $24 for two Fandango Movie tickets and a $10 Subway Gift Card or $30 for a $25 Macy’s Gift Card and a $100 DiscountDiningDollars.com gift card either. With that in mind, you can pick up the Fandango Tickets and Subway Gift Card deal for $19 - making each movie ticket just $4.50. Or pay $25 for the Macy’s Gift Card and $100 DDD gift card – essentially making the dining card free.

FYI: The fine print will state explicitly that Saveology Dollars may not be used to purchase a particular deal. Here is a perfect example.

Caveat? It can take up to 24 hours for the credits to appear in your account. Any of these deals may sell out by the time we’re able to purchase them. However, Saveology always has some really great discount deals.
