I don’t know about you, but the more I coupon, the more I try to figure out how I can save even more money without sacrificing too much. For example, I cannot live without using Tide. Period. I buy it when I can work it into a moneymaker scenario at the Big 3, so I don’t have to pay too much for it. Even then, I mix it 50/50 with something like Gain or Xtra to make it last longer. I’m also a big fan of the Salvation Army. I buy a lot of my kids summer clothes there. I mean, why should I pay a fortune for clothes that will be mummified by the end of the summer anyway? Not only that, it’s another way to recycle. Ahem, let me be clear – I’m no tree hugger, but I’m not an ostrich either. I recycle when and what I can – including clothes & toys.
