There have been a few mail in rebates that have come up in the last week.  Here’s a nifty roundup and some deals to go with them.

1.) First, here is a fabulous moneymaking opportunity on Garnier Fructis Anti Dandruff.  Go HERE to get the deets on the rebate, but here’s the jist.  Mail your bottle and original receipt after taking their 48hr challenge and get a refund of up to $11.99 (includes S&H) when you try it.  The rebate is good up to 60 days from the date of purchase.  Don’t think for a moment that when they’re 3/$10.00 or something like that, they won’t all be free with whatever scenario I’ll put together.  Muahaha!

2.) Self Magazine – FREE Fitted tee wyb 2 or more CoverGirl products.   Purchases must have been made between 5/24-6/20.  Receipt must be received by 7/8/11 and both purchases must be made on ONE receipt to receive the tee.

3.) Osmocote Outdoor & Indoor Plant Food 3lb canister – $10.00 MIR = FREE

4.) Free First Aid Kit wyb 3 select products – Band Aid, Red Cross, Neosporin, Benadryl or Cortaid by 9/30/11 – Remember, Cortaid is free this week at CVS.

5.) Kellogg’s Passport to Adventure – Enter 4 codes from specially marked boxes of Kellogg’s Cereal HERE and get a free $5.00 Visa Gas Card.  Rice Krispies & Frosted Flakes are participating cereals, so if you can find them at Rite Aid, you’re looking at a decent moneymaker!

Rite Aid Dealie:

Kellogg’s Cereal $1.88
Frost Flakes
Raisin Bran
Apple Jacks
Corn Pops
Froot Loops
Corn Flakes
Rice Krispies
$10.00 MIR on 10 Boxes ($1.00/box)
Final after MIR: $0.18ea for Raisin Bran + $1.25ea back from the Visa Gas Card/box, so $1.07 moneymaker- make sure you get two receipts for both the gas card and AARP rebates!

6.) Rayovac & Disney – FREE movie tickets for Cars 2 wyb specially marked Rayovac battery packages.  While I don’t expect the smaller size packages at around $0.97ea to be included in the promo, make sure you check that out too.  You can possibly snag some movie tickets for free or better if you printed the $2.00/1 coupon before it disappeared!  At minimum, they’d be free with THIS Facebook coupon.

7.) Buy 9 Coca Cola 20oz products at CVS, get a ECB for the 10th one free.  Use the new $1.00/1 Diet Coke coupon from Facebook plus your Green Bag Tag (hopefully free with last weeks ECB coupon) when you buy them separately and you’ll earn $1.00 ECB for every 4 transactions at CVS.  That works out to $1.25 ea toward each bottle.  Get enough of the Diet Coke coupons and you can get 10 bottles for free!

8.) Scholastic – FREE book when your child submits an essay about their most special family moment. That’s a great summer activity that encourages learning retention.

9.) Kids ‘n Pets Stain Remover – Rebate form enabled when you like them on Facebook.

10.) Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce when you fill out this form and request the coupon.

Thanks for sending me these, Kelly, Marie, Lynn, Anne and Carley!

I know, I know, this goes in the Freebie Free for All.  It’ll get there too!  😉    I haven’t been including this particular coupon in the match-ups because no one had been able to find them.  Looks like that’s changing.  Keep your eye out, or ask,  for this little booklet:

It has some great W brand coupons in it.

Update: Family Emergency

My Mom and T (9/2006)

Generally speaking, it’s difficult for me to make a long story short, but I will try.  My mother was/is my family emergency.  She went to the ER on Friday because she thought she was having a heart attack, was discharged Saturday night, collapsed Sunday morning, returned to the hospital immediately following and diagnosed yesterday with a massive pulmonary embolism.  I won’t recount the constellation of events, but had things not happened exactly the way that they did, she  likely would not have survived.  As it stands now, her prognosis is excellent, but she is by no means out of the woods.

Because things are touch and go and I’m in and out of the hospital, when possible, I don’t know how much I’ll be posting in the next week.  It will definitely be hit or miss. But since couponing is my knitting/sport/decompression activity, who knows?  Maybe I’ll be posting more!

So, that’s what is going on around here.   Thank you all for your kind wishes, prayers and concern since Friday.   I know without a shadow of a doubt that your prayers and those of my many other couponing friends, who only *see* me at AFC, have had a profound impact on the way this has unfolded.  God answers prayers, and I assure you, what has transpired is nothing short of a miracle.

For that, and so many other things, I am profoundly grateful.  In my own selfishness, I’m crushingly emotional about  having another chance to look into her eyes and tell her that I love her…beyond love, to the depths of my soul.  One. more. time.   At 37, she is still my *Momma* and the most wonderful mother anyone could ever hope to have.   I am so blessed.

May God bless each and every one of you as he has blessed me,
