I went to three Walgreens in my quest for cheap Tide.  I found tags for Tide w/Downy 71oz ($5.00-$5.99) , Ultra Tide w/Bleach 56oz ($4.49)  and Gain Powder ($5.00)- all out of stock except one store.  When I started, I told myself I wouldn’t pay more than $1.99.  After I saw the empty shelves,  I was suddenly feeling pretty good getting it for $3.99.  If you’re brave, roll the dice and wait to pick them up with the Cottonelle RR’s we’ll be getting starting Saturday for a really phenomenal deal.   This clearance is widespread and the prices vary considerably with some as low as $2.49, so $0.49 after the 9/11SS coupon.  My mailbox is full (THANK YOU) with messages about this deal.

One more note:  Without a doubt, you see all the voids on my receipt above.  Clearance items rarely scan properly, so make sure you point out the price and pay close attention as they’re scanned to be sure you don’t overpay.

I didn’t have my camera with me today either, but I’ll tell you that I saw All Liq Laundry w/OxiActive Buy One at $5.99 Get One Free.  Same thing with Purex Liquid Laundry Mountain Breeze.  I happened to have a free All product coupon with me, so I picked up a couple.  Despite the tag wording, they both rang up at $2.99ea, so that was my deduction for the free one.  That wasn’t a big deal.  I still got them for $1.49ea, and that’s good enough for me.  Keep that in mind if you want to pick any up with  the $1.00/1 All Laundry 8/28RP (exp 10/9).  They’ll be $1.99ea.

I also saw quite a few clearance items.  When my camera is charged, I’ll take  another trip up there to snap some shots for you.
