I’ve been inundated with questions about the *Bonus Buy* section available in the online and mobile weekly ad. If you’re not familiar with what I’m talking about, you’ll see this picture above the weekly ad online when you’re browsing through it.
When you click on it, you’ll be taken to a few pages of additional sale items available in-store. These are sale items, just like the weekly ad, but you usually only stumble across them in-store. Now, you can take a look at them online. From now on, I’ll be matching them up in a special section in the weekly match-ups, so you can easily go to the online ad and look at them separately. As with everything else Walgreens, you may encounter some trouble using this coupon. Since the sale is limited to the loose rolls, they may insist that the coupon is only valid for the prepackaged Chapstick which retails for $2.49. However, the language trumps the picture. 0.15oz is 0.15oz, but I’m sure they’ll dispute it if they choose.
Also, I mentioned yesterday, the launch of the Walgreens mobile app was extremely successful for them. Because of this, Walgreens will soon be offering more consistent mobile coupons via their app AND Twitter AND to customers who check in at Walgreens from foursquare
