Walgreens: Bonus Buys (Explained), Mobile Coupon Update, Free Chapstick, Moneymaker Sundown and More!

I’ve been inundated with questions about the *Bonus Buy* section available in the online and mobile weekly ad.  If you’re not familiar with what I’m talking about, you’ll see this picture above the weekly ad online when you’re browsing through it.

When you click on it, you’ll be taken to a few pages of additional sale items available in-store.  These are sale items, just like the weekly ad, but you usually only stumble across them in-store.  Now, you can take a look at them online.  From now on, I’ll be matching them up in a special section in the weekly match-ups, so you can easily go to the online ad and look at them separately.  Now, here’s a freebie from that section:

Use the $1.00/1 Walgreens February Coupon Booklet coupon to get these for free! Or you can print it from the Walgreens website, if you’d like.   As usual, I found it on the last page and it looks like this:

As with everything else Walgreens, you may encounter some trouble using this coupon.  Since the sale is limited to the loose rolls, they may insist that the coupon is only valid for the prepackaged Chapstick which retails for $2.49.  However, the language trumps the picture.  0.15oz is 0.15oz, but I’m sure they’ll dispute it if they choose.

Also, I mentioned yesterday,  the launch of the Walgreens mobile app was extremely successful for them.  Because of this, Walgreens will soon be offering more consistent mobile coupons via their app AND Twitter AND to customers who check in at Walgreens from foursquare.  Make sure you follow Walgreens on Twitter and check in via foursquare when you’re nearby to take advantage of these offers.  And of course, let me know what you get!

Next, the Sundown Vitamin D 1000IU 100ct $4.00 is Buy One Get One Free this week.  you can use:
2 – $2.00/1 1/1RP (exp 2/14) or 1/22RP
or
2 – $1.00/1 Sundown 1/1RP or 1/22RP or 2/12RP

Pay as low as nothing but tax and submit for the February Rebate.  You can choose a gift card and receive a 10% bonus or just get $4 back via rebate.

One more thing –   I listed a try me free rebate for Cardio Juice in the coupon round-up this morning.   It retails for $7.99 at Walgreens and there is a $3.00 coupon available in the Walgreens February Coupon Booklet or online .  While I can’t guarantee anything, it’s possible that you could use that coupon, submit the rebate and receive the full amount back.  That way, you’re looking at a $3.00 moneymaker – or just a freebie.  That’s great too!

Last, but not least, sign up for the weekly ad sneak peek to get a $5 coupon.  I don’t have it myself, so I can’t tell you the deets – total purchase of $25 or $35 or whatever, but sign up!  Either way, it’s a good coupon and will likely get you more perks in addition to the first look at the upcoming ad.
