If you have a prescription you’d like to transfer to Walgreens, they’ll give you a $25 Walgreens Gift Card for doing so!
All you have to do is sign in or create a Walgreens account, enter the prescription information and check out. They’ll handle all of the details of the transfer for you.
Now, I would advise you against filling a single prescription (of many) at Walgreens JUST to get the gift card. If you do that, and then return to your *other* pharmacy to fill a new prescription that MAY interact with the one filled at Walgreens, you could potentially have a serious problem. However, if you have a prescription for an Epi-Pen or something like that you don’t routinely use, this is a good use of the offer. Otherwise, if Walgreens is not your regular pharmacy or you don’t plan to transfer all of your prescriptions over to Walgreens, I’d be cautious about doing this.
