Target RedCard Information
Since many of you have asked, Target Redcards aren’t necessarily credit cards. When you fill out the application, you have the option of choosing a Target Credit Card or Debit Card.

You’ll see an image like this one above, but the Debit Card option will be faint. Click on it to highlight it, as I’ve done in the above photo, to obtain an application for a Target Debit Card that links to your checking account. That way, you won’t be taking on a Target credit card with a high rate of interest. Personally, I think it’s worth it to take the time and do this. You’ll save 5% on all your orders in-store and on Target.com. And when you shop online, you’ll get free shipping on any size order. There are no membership fees associated with participating. And while I don’t know this part for certain, it seems that if you participate in this program (or another Target card program), it MAY put you on a mailing list to receive Target coupon booklets. As you know, those stack nicely with manufacturer coupons. Finally, I often see nice clearance deals at Target online. This will allow you to take advantage of those without the minimum $50 purchase.

FYI: Target is not currently accepting applications for the Target Visa card. The Target Debit Card cannot be used on Target Mobile.

Walgreens & Rite Aid: The Natural Dentist Rinse Try Me Free Rebate! Up to $2 Moneymaker!?!

Wellll, here’s something to take to Walgreens or Rite Aid today! Check out The Natural Dentist Facebook page and look under the Try It Free tab to fill out and print your rebate form for a bottle of The Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Rinse. After you submit your mailing information on their Facebook page, you’ll be able to print the form with your data pre-filled. When you’re done with that, print a $2.00/1 The Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Antigingivitis Rinse coupon on their website. The rebate form doesn’t say anything about deducting the coupon value from the rebate, so you may actually have a $2 moneymaker on your hands depending on the retail value of the rinse. The value of the rebate check is $7.99, so keep that in mind when you shop.

When you submit your rebate, you’ll need to include the form you print from their Facebook page, cash register receipt with product price circled, and the CAP WRAP from the bottle. Purchases must occur between 4/7/12-4/22/12 and be postmarked no later than 5/5/12. Allow 4-6 weeks for processing. Limit one rebate per name, household and address. Photocopies are not acceptable.

There are some new Johnson’s coupons this morning! If you have grocery stores that will double, you’ll probably want to use the $0.50 coupon there. However, the new $1.00/1 Johnson’s Baby Powder fits nicely with two deals at the drugstores this week. My favorite, of course, is at Rite Aid where you can pick up 9 baby products for $1.43 each! That’s a big savings over regular retail. You can print both of these great coupons by clicking the images above.

OK, here’s the deal with the Recyclebank coupon. You’re only allowed two prints PER DAY. You’ll have to wait until tomorrow to print two more to maximize your savings on the deal at Rite Aid. Now, I tried to order two and only one printed. It may be better to order one and then order another – which may work – or there’s just a cap on the bricks coupon or whatever. I don’t know. I am waiting to hear from CS. Yep, it’s a hassle. What else is new, right? No big deal.

Also, some of you are commenting that you’re seeing scenarios with more than 4 identical coupons. Remember, you are only allowed to use FOUR of the same coupons in a single transaction per the coupon policy. Finally, this deal requires you to purchase $25 in a single transaction to receive the UP, so you can’t do a few today and a few tomorrow….unless someone else tells me it’s now tracking.

Big Lots 4/15-4/21: Price Match Target & Walmart!

There are a few good items to price match starting Sunday, April 15th through Saturday, April 21st at Walmart & Target (both stores will match competitor ad prices) with your Big Lots ad. But before you head over to either store, make sure yours will match Big Lots. Some stores feel that because Big Lots offers closeout merchandise they can offer it at substantially lower prices than regular retail. I haven’t heard too many stories about Walmart, so that may be your best bet to try and score these deals.

Why price match? Big Lots doesn’t accept manufacturer coupons, but Target and Walmart do. With that in mind, you can get closeout prices AND use coupons for additional savings at both of those stores.

Also, make sure you join the Big Lots Buzz Club Rewards program if you plan to shop there as well. You’ll be rewarded for every 10 purchases of $25 or more with a one time use 20% savings pass. This is excellent if you need big ticket items like a mattress, bed, couch or something like that. It’s equally as good if you’d like to purchase closeout priced food and toiletries!
