If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, download the free Hungry Hungry Hippos app and give the kids something to do when you’ve got to wait around somewhere for a while. This is perfect to keep both of my kids busy while we wait the obligatory half hour after my son receives his allergy shot. It’s even better in restaurants while we’re waiting to be seated or after the tasmanians have finished scarfing and I haven’t even had a bite yet. ;)

In case you’re wondering, it’s the same as the time tested game kids love to play. Just pick your hippo and start chomping fruit in the Tiki Pond!

We have a wedding to attend this weekend and certainly would have benefited from this sale a week or two ago. As I mentioned before, the (ahem) benefit to having a puppy is always needing new shoes.
