New Stuff

Starting September 2nd, all UP Rewards earned will be loaded directy to your Wellness+ account.  You may opt out of that program at the register.

These are not in ascending order.

The coupon policy has been updated recently.  If you missed my post, you can read all about it HERE.  All of the match-ups reflect these changes.

Old Stuff

I am now ONLY using online prices in my match-ups. I had been using my actual store prices, but that proved equally frustrating for many people. While I realize that online prices are equally frustrating, they’re relatively accurate for some. Since they’re about the same in that regard, it’s easier to use online prices! For new items not yet in their online store, I will use my store prices.

This lists consists of  all the items under $1, all the UP Reward generating items and many, MANY more.  Because I’m still doing most of the ad,  every link isn’t tested, as I don’t buy everything that’s on sale and I’m too cheap to waste the ink. Let me know if one doesn’t work, if my math has taken a nose dive or I’ve missed a rule somewhere.

Finally, please keep your Wellness + discount in mind. These deals are calculated assuming you have no discount, so you may need to adjust accordingly.

Still need help?  Check here or you can ALWAYS contact me.  After nearly 4 years, ABC pages to each store are coming soon. :)

Big Lots 10/14-10/20: Price Match Target & Walmart! Starburst, Skittles, Hunts, Nutella & More!

Old Stuff

There are a few good items to price match at Walmart & Target   (both stores will match competitor ad prices) with your Big Lots ad.  But before you head over to either store, make sure yours will match Big Lots.  Some stores feel that because Big Lots offers closeout merchandise they can offer it at substantially lower prices than regular retail.  I haven’t heard too many stories about Walmart, so that may be your best bet to try and score these deals.

Why price match?
Big Lots doesn’t accept manufacturer coupons, but Target and Walmart do.  With that in mind, you can get closeout prices AND use coupons for additional savings at both of those stores. Also, make sure you join the Big Lots Buzz Club Rewards program if you plan to shop there as well.  You’ll be rewarded for every 10 purchases of $25 or more with a one time use 20% savings pass.  This is excellent if you need big ticket items like a mattress, bed, couch or something like that.  It’s equally as good if you’d like to purchase closeout priced food and toiletries!

And now the weekly ad match-ups…

Skittles & Starburst Bagged Candy $1.85 (YMMV price matching this one since no sizes are listed.  If you can find these 20% more free bags, both of which are 16.8oz and don’t come any other way, you should be all set.  They’re widely available.)

Jingit: Get Paid to Watch Ads, Check In, and Shop!

Update:  I’ve been hearing from you that these ads are resetting, but haven’t been able to pin down how often or which are resetting.  Here’s a  handy reference list for you to help track your earning potential.

$0.20 for S’Mores (resets every 2 hrs)
$0.25 for Snickers Halloween (resets daily)
$0.50 for Jell-O (two ads at $0.25 each – resets daily)
$0.25 for Jell-O 4pks (resets daily)
$0.25 for Jell-O Mix Ins (resets daily)
$0.25 for Elmer’s Glue All (resets daily)  ~ Thanks, I Heart the Mart for this great list!

Have you heard of Jingit?  No?  Trust me, you are going to learn all about it very quickly when I tell you you can earn real cash by doing things you already do anyway – watching ads online, checking in and shopping for select products at your favorite stores or even for giving your feedback to leading brands by taking brief surveys.

I registered  several months ago and will never forget earning my first $0.75 watching two ads that only took two minutes to watch.  There are more ads available to watch often, and there’s a new Jell-O survey right now!    As a newer company, there are not currently a lot of surveys and videos on the site, but there will surely be many more as attention grows and big brands take notice of this great new way for them to market.

That said,  be sure to look for their ads on Walmart.com when you shop.  They appear there and in other places online as well.  You may not have noticed them before.

You can also check-in when you go to Walmart with your mobile phone to receive credits, too.

To sign up, you’ll need to login via Facebook and enter your mobile phone number for them to send a text message and confirm your account.  Once confirmed, you can start watching videos from Kraft, Elmer’s and Walmart.     You can earn up to $5 per week, but when you post about Jingit to your Facebook wall or invite friends to join, your learn limit increases by $0.25 for every friend who joins through your post or invite.  You’ll be credited with your increase when your friend or friends complete the sign up process.  In total, you can increase your weekly limit to $10.

When you want to redeem your earnings, you can apply for a Jingit Visa Debit Card that funds will be added to as you earn and add funds to your card.  There is a one time $2 fee associated with the card, so be sure to have that minimum and more in your account before requesting that option.  After applying, you should receive your Debit Card within 3 weeks.  Also, you can redeem your credits at music.me where you can buy your favorite music using your Jingit credits.

It’s a nice opportunity to save more money!

New Stuff

If you missed it,  the Balance Rewards program is in full swing.  You’ll see many items below that earn points.  I’ve included this quick reference chart here, so you can see the point breakdown.  I’ve deducted the cash equivalent of the point value from the final cost of each item.

If you have a prescription you’d like to transfer to Walgreens, they’ll give you a $25 Walgreens Gift Card for doing so!  Check out my old  post if you haven’t seen it.

And if you missed it, you can read my latest post that discusses the *Bonus Buys* and changes coming for the mobile coupons and more.  The matchups begin with them.

It’s also a new month, so that means a new coupon booklet.  You can view the coupon list  HERE and print them, too.

Old Stuff

Since I do this for you, I listen to your suggestions.  In recent weeks, more than a handful of you have mentioned that you saw a deal elsewhere and thought I must not have it in the match-ups only to go back through the match-ups and see it there.  Sheesh…I hope THAT makes sense.  Hah!  Here’s my attempt at solving that problem.  I’m going to highlight  deals that I think are particularly good in BLUE.  Why blue?  Don’cha know?  I’m outta colors!  :)  You know I color code everything to the moon.  So when you see something BLUE, it’s worth noticing ~ above and beyond the regular MM, Freebies and green deal ideas.

Now, here’s my updated blurb about the Walk with Walgreens program because I want to remind you about the coupons that you COULD be getting just by logging in here and there.  And oh, do I ever mean here and there….3 times in 2ish months is my average.  If you aren’t familiar with the Walk with Walgreens program, check out these earlier posts HERE and HERE.

My coupons as of 8/11 are:

Items within a particular sale grouping are BROWN and deal ideas are GREEN.  Clearance is PURPLE.

Need more help deciphering my match-ups?  Here you go or send me a message.

And now the matchups…
