My son went to the farm yesterday, and he spent most of the night on the couch.  He cannot breathe and his throat hurts.  I think he’s more allergic to hay, mold, and horses than grass or anything else short of peanuts.  He’s so miserable.

Print a new, high value $7.00/1 Zyrtec 24ct+ coupon along with me and take a huge bite out of the high price.

I’ll be pairing this with an excellent deal at Walgreens through 5/25:

2 – Zyrtec LiquiGels 25ct or Tablets 30ct $19
Total: $38
Use:
2 – $7.00/1 Zyrtec 24ct
Pay: $24
Get 10,000 Balance Rewards points on $30 ($10 equivalent)
Final after BR: $14 for both or $7 each!

This is part of a group sale this week.  You’ll find all available coupons in the match-ups.  Be sure to check them out and print your coupons for free Fig Newtons as well as lots of other great deals!

New Stuff

The amounts for the Balance Rewards redemption has changed!  You can now redeem just $1 if you need to!

If you missed it,  the Balance Rewards program is in full swing.  You’ll see many items below that earn points.  I’ve included this quick reference chart here, so you can see the point breakdown.  I’ve deducted the cash equivalent of the point value from the final cost of each item.

If you have a prescription you’d like to transfer to Walgreens, they’ll give you a $25 Walgreens Gift Card for doing so!  Check out my old  post if you haven’t seen it.

And if you missed it, you can read my latest post that discusses the *Bonus Buys* and changes coming for the mobile coupons and more.  The matchups begin with them.

It’s also a new month, so that means a new coupon booklet.  You can view the coupon list  HERE and print them, too.

Old Stuff

Now, here’s my updated blurb about the Walk with Walgreens program because I want to remind you about the coupons that you COULD be getting just by logging in here and there.  And oh, do I ever mean here and there….3 times in 2ish months is my average.  If you aren’t familiar with the Walk with Walgreens program, check out these earlier posts HERE and HERE.

My coupons as of 8/11 are:

Plus, as of 3/28/13, you can earn 20 points for every mile you walk and log, up to a maximum of 1,000 Balance Rewards points per month.

New Stuff

You are going to see some new discounts in the matchups this week.  Get up to speed by reading more about the Cartwheel program below.

Cartwheel

The Cartwheel Program is a new savings opportunity that allows as much as an additional 30% savings on all sorts of items at Target.

You need to have two things: a Facebook account to earn your savings, and a SmartPhone to redeem them.  Alternatively, you can bring a printable bar code to your Target store with you, but you will still need a Facebook account to access the offers.

Selecting an offer will post the deal to your Facebook wall.  As always, you can change your privacy settings so that it won’t post this information.

To sign up:

  • Login via your Facebook account
  • Click Collections to browse offers
  • To select an offer, tap the card and it will flip over revealing an “Add Button”.   Choose carefully, as you’re only given 10 spots to use initially.  Earn more spots by unlocking Cartwheel badges.  These are earned by redeeming offers.
  • To redeem offers, print your personalized Cartwheel bar code or show it on your SmartPhone at the register.  The cashier will scan it and the discount will be applied to your items.

Important Details:
The Cartwheel discount is applied in between Target Coupons and Manufacturer Coupons like this:

Item Price
- Target Coupon
- Cartwheel Discount
- Manufacturer Coupon
Final Price

An identical offer can be applied a maximum of 4 times in a single transaction.
You may use a maximum of 6 different Cartwheel offers per day at 4 uses each.

There are always  new printable Target coupons we can stack with manufacturer coupons for additional savings. Target has made some changes to their coupon policy, but there is nothing life changing here. 1.)  There is now a limit of four identical coupons per household per day (unless otherwise noted on coupon.) 2.)  Returns of items purchased using manufacturer coupons may receive coupon value returned in the form of a Target GiftCard.

Old Stuff

Target RedCard Information

Since many of you have asked, Target Redcards aren’t necessarily credit cards.  When you fill out the application, you have the option of choosing a Target Credit Card or Debit Card.

You’ll see an image like this one above, but the Debit Card option will be faint.  Click on it to highlight it, as I’ve done in the above photo, to obtain an application for a Target Debit Card that links to your checking account.  That way, you won’t be taking on a Target credit card with a high rate of interest.  Personally, I think it’s worth it to take the time and do this.  You’ll save 5% on all your orders in-store and on Target.com.  And when you shop online, you’ll  get free shipping on any size order.  There are no membership fees associated with participating.    And while I don’t know this part for certain, it seems that if you participate in this program (or another Target card program), it MAY put you on a mailing list to receive Target coupon booklets.  As you know, those stack nicely with manufacturer coupons.  Finally, I often see nice clearance deals at Target online.  This will allow you to take advantage of those without the minimum $50 purchase. FYI: Target is not currently accepting applications for the Target Visa card.  The Target Debit Card cannot be used on Target Mobile.

Walmart: Freebies & Cheapies (Updated 5/18)

New Stuff

Important: There have been some coupon policy changes you may have noticed at Walmart.  All register systems have now been updated to accept the new bar codes on coupons.  Because of this, all coupons are supposed to be scanned on the flatbed scanner only. If they don’t scan, cashiers are instructed to return the coupon to you.  Cashiers or managers may override or manually enter the coupons, but you should not expect that outcome.  It’s at their discretion, varies by store, and sometimes by shift change.

New Stuff

The Single Check Rebate Program ended 1/1/13.

Starting September 2nd, all UP Rewards earned will be loaded directly to your Wellness+ account.  You may opt out of that program at the register.  In addition, they will not be available for use until 6am the day after receiving them.

These are not in ascending order.

The coupon policy has been updated recently.  If you missed my post, you can read all about it HERE.  All of the match-ups reflect these changes.

Old Stuff

I am now ONLY using online prices in my match-ups. I had been using my actual store prices, but that proved equally frustrating for many people. While I realize that online prices are equally frustrating, they’re relatively accurate for some. Since they’re about the same in that regard, it’s easier to use online prices! For new items not yet in their online store, I will use my store prices.

This lists consists of  all the items under $1, all the UP Reward generating items and many, MANY more.  Because I’m still doing most of the ad,  every link isn’t tested, as I don’t buy everything that’s on sale and I’m too cheap to waste the ink. Let me know if one doesn’t work, if my math has taken a nose dive or I’ve missed a rule somewhere.

Finally, please keep your Wellness + discount in mind. These deals are calculated assuming you have no discount, so you may need to adjust accordingly.

Still need help?  Check here or you can ALWAYS contact me.  After nearly 4 years, ABC pages to each store are coming soon. :)
