Head over to Paypal where you can add a $5 off $25 Home Depot purchase coupon to your Paypal account. Simply click the *Save to Paypal Account* button, and you’ll be asked to login or register for a new account. Once you login, you’ll be asked to confirm your Paypal Payment Card address. This card will give you the ability to simply swipe it at checkout and enter the pin you’ll set up on the Paypal website.
From there, the second step is to link your mobile phone. Once you do that, you’ll be able to pay at checkout using your mobile phone number and selected pin. In setting this up, you’ll have to confirm a code sent to your mobile phone.

OK, so a couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that I picked up a pair of pants in Walmart and paid more than I would have if I had bought them online – even with the shipping charge. Here’s the post if you missed that discussion.
Well, I was zipping through the Walmart ad this morning, and I noticed this picture on page 14. Yep, the arrows are all mine. I was feeling dramatic.
My point is this:
This is part of my swim cover ups under $10 shipped post. With the $0.97 shipping, it’s $7.47 shipped – a difference of $0.49 over the $7.96 in store price. Now, I know what you’re going to say, “It’s just $0.49.”, but let’s say you overpay $0.49 consistently. Yeah, it starts to add up. I’m all about paying the lowest possible price, and saving the MOST money. The best way to do that is to add small savings over time vs. trying to find a high value freebie.
For Walmart, you’ll sometimes find the best price on a particular item online. Check there before you head out to your local store.

Amazon Program Information Refresher
Understanding these Amazon programs can be confusing, so I though it might be nice to break them down a bit for you.
Some items are available through the Subscribe & Save program. What that means is that you select shipments at regular intervals (every 1-6 months) and you’ll receive the item at the 5% discounted price when you subscribe to 4 items or less. Subscribe to 5 or more items, and you’ll receive a 15% discount on each of your subscription items. Additionally, all subscriptions ship free. If you don’t want to bother with regular shipments (the prices do fluctuate), sign up to receive the shipment you want and cancel (with no penalty) when you’ve received your order. You can cancel via the Your Account dropdown menu tab “Your Subscribe & Save Items.” Canceling is very easy to do.
Alternatively, all items can be shipped free with Amazon Prime as well. You can sign up for a free trial membership and cancel before you are charged the annual fee, if you choose.
I am a member of the Amazon Mom program. Starting January 24, 2012, the maximum discount available on any purchase is 20%. This comes from the exclusive discount of 15% on select items (diapers, wipes, etc.) on top of a revised 5% Subscribe and Save discount vs. 15% for other purchased items i.e. grocery, etc. There are often coupons that are stackable with these discounts as well. Also, when you join Amazon Mom, you have the added bonus of Amazon Prime free Two-Day shipping for the first three months continued only by purchasing an Amazon Prime membership after the trial period ($79).
Amazon Student is free for, well, college students by providing a school and major. You get AmazonPrime free shipping for six months and free release date delivery on video games, DVD’s, books and more. You must have a .edu email address to confirm.

Cartwheel
The Cartwheel Program is a new savings opportunity that allows as much as an additional 30% savings on all sorts of items at Target.
You need to have two things: a Facebook account to earn your savings, and a SmartPhone to redeem them. Alternatively, you can bring a printable bar code to your Target store with you, but you will still need a Facebook account to access the offers.
Selecting an offer will post the deal to your Facebook wall. As always, you can change your privacy settings so that it won’t post this information.

There are always new printable Target coupons we can stack with manufacturer coupons for additional savings. Target has made some changes to their coupon policy, but there is nothing life changing here. 1.) There is now a limit of four identical coupons per household per day (unless otherwise noted on coupon.) 2.) Returns of items purchased using manufacturer coupons may receive coupon value returned in the form of a Target GiftCard.
Target RedCard Information
Since many of you have asked, Target Redcards aren’t necessarily credit cards. When you fill out the application, you have the option of choosing a Target Credit Card or Debit Card.
You’ll see an image like this one above, but the Debit Card option will be faint. Click on it to highlight it, as I’ve done in the above photo, to obtain an application for a Target Debit Card that links to your checking account. That way, you won’t be taking on a Target credit card with a high rate of interest. Personally, I think it’s worth it to take the time and do this. You’ll save 5% on all your orders in-store and on Target.com. And when you shop online, you’ll get free shipping on any size order. There are no membership fees associated with participating. And while I don’t know this part for certain, it seems that if you participate in this program (or another Target card program), it MAY put you on a mailing list to receive Target coupon booklets. As you know, those stack nicely with manufacturer coupons. Finally, I often see nice clearance deals at Target online. This will allow you to take advantage of those without the minimum $50 purchase. FYI: Target is not currently accepting applications for the Target Visa card. The Target Debit Card cannot be used on Target Mobile.
