Wooohooo!  With the new coupons Recyclebank has been offering lately, I’m very glad to see their new August through December promotion.

Each month, we can visit their new ec0-friendly home, find helpful tips, and earn 10 points for each designated pink bulls-eyed area visited when we pledge to incorporate these suggestions into our daily routine.   Plus, there are two unmarked locations where 20 more points are hiding for a total of 60, so click around to find them.

August is sponsored by Off! and they’ll show you lots of easy ways to keep your home cool in the hot summer.  I jut finished earning the available 40 points!

And right now, they’ve got a couple of incredible local offers for me.  Sign up or login to see what’s available to you.

What Is Recyclebank?
Recyclebank is a great place to learn about recycling, pledge to participate in recycling, and earn rewards for doing both.  There are several ways to earn points: viewing videos,  taking quizzes, buying select products and entering codes, referring friends, and a few more.  In return, you can select coupons good for restaurant & store discounts, and money off products like Ziploc, Coke  and Duracell.  Often, these coupons will get you freebies like Fancy Feast cat food, Coke 2L or Honest Tea.  It’s definitely worth the relatively few minutes it takes to complete the activities.

We usually see freebies each month to celebrate different holidays and things, but it seems we get more from Earth Day than any other…free trees…bags…facial care items.  Yep, you’ll see all of those when I post the Earth Day freebie and deal round-up.  For now, Recyclebank has launched a new Passport for the Planet Campaign to celebrate Earth month.  By the end of the promotion, you can earn over 500 Recyclebank points that can be used toward any of their available rewards.

The first stamp in your passport comes from Europe…the entire continent.  Login or register with Recyclebank and complete the activites to earn 10 points each from Sweden, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Switzerland and Spain.  Another section of Spain will earn you an additional 35 points!

What Is Recyclebank?

Recyclebank is an incentive based education program that awards you points for learning about green activities, pledging to make more earth friendly changes, and purchasing qualifying greener products.   When you earn enough points, you can exchange them for coupons, gift cards, magazine subscriptions and more.

Recyclebank Roundup: 230 Points!

I’m running late with most things this week because, well, I have a family.  My daughter is under the weather and Easter is on the horizon.  Family takes precedence, as it should.  That said, I sure do miss doing these posts!  I think I’ll be able to get caught up quickly though and post some matchups for you too!  Right now, I want to tell ya what I’ve been doing with Recyclebank.  As you know, I try and include available Recyclebank coupons in my match-ups.  Well, I try and include ALL available coupons, but you know that already.  That said, I want to make sure you know what point earning opportunities exist.  If you’ve logged in recently, you’ve likely seen the Green Your Home Challenge.  Have a look around the Yard (the newest one) and earn a cool 40 points!  While you’re there, on Recyclebank that is, make sure you’ve done these other activities as well:

Partners in Purpose – 25pts (the easiest)
Green Your Home Challenges: Bedroom (25pts), Living Room (45pts) and Kitchen (45pts)
Aveeno Active Naturals Pledge (Facebook) – 50pts – If you figure this one out, let me know.  I MUST be missing a step.

So, there ya go!  Did I miss any?

Oh, and I need to create a Recyclebank 101 post, but until I do, here’s the deal.  Recyclebank is a great place to learn about recycling, actively participate in recycling and earn rewards for doing both.  There are several ways to earn points: viewing videos,  taking quizzes, buying select products and entering codes, referring friends and a few more.  In return, you can select coupons good for restaurant & store discounts, money off products like Ziploc, Coke  and Duracell.  Often, these coupons will get you freebies like Fancy Feast cat food, Coke 2L or Honest Tea.  It’s definitely worth the relatively few minutes it takes to complete the activities.
