Spring is coming!  No, really, it is!   I’m about to take a pickaxe outside and start hacking at my garden bed to prove it!  Well, that might be a bit much, but I’ll do something that’ll make the neighbors stare at me with mouths agape if something doesn’t change quickly around here.  😉

And Lowe’s has a fun project for the kids for their Build and Grow Clinic coming up on Saturday, March 8th at 10am that’ll get them excited about spring, too  They can build a new springtime birdhouse for their little chirpy friends.  My kids have already spotted a couple of summer birds outside!  They can hardly wait for sprinklers, bikes, slides, popsicles, parties, and all the fun trappings of summer!  I’m right there with them on that one.

Register now for this fun, free project.  These tend to fill up quickly.

My daughter is SO excited about this movie!  Every time she sees the commercial, she stops what she’s doing, and shushes everyone.  Sofia, mermaids, and Ariel.  What can be better, right?

If you’ve got a teeny princess hooked on all things Sofia, head over to your local Disney Store between 10:30am and 1pm on Saturday, November 16th to get a sneak peek at Sofia the First: The Floating Palace.  While you’re there, your lovely little lady will also get to make a fun craft.

Locate a participating store here.

*Minimum age for participation is 3 years. Event limited per session based on store capacity. No lineups prior to 30 minutes before event begins. Event subject to change or cancellation without notice.

Their goal is to have 10,000 cards made, so go on in and create a card.  You don’t need to purchase a t-shirt to participate in the card decorating.

These projects are geared for children ages 4 and up. All are held on Wednesday from 1-3pm.
