For those of you unfamiliar with The Elf On The Shelf, this excerpt is taken from the Barnes & Noble description: A Christmas Tradition is an activity the entire family will enjoy. Based on the tradition Carol Aebersold began with her family in the 1970s, this cleverly rhymed children’s book explains that Santa knows who is naughty and/or nice because he sends a scout elf to every home. During the holiday season, the elf watches children by day and reports to Santa each night. When children awake, the elf has returned from the North Pole and can be found hiding in a different location. This activity allows The Elf on the Shelf to become a delightful hide-and-seek game.
Each Tradition-in-a-Box comes with its very own scout elf, a hardbound children’s book and a keepsake box for easy storage. In addition, each shipment is marked for “Special Delivery” from Santa’s workshop.
I am going to give away one of these boxed sets on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th at 8pm. That way, you’ll know if you need to hunt one down on Black Friday or not. Also, I’ll be shipping it out Friday morning via Priority Mail, so you have plenty of time to play the game!
This is my way of saying thank you to YOU for being such a valued reader. You may enter HERE and share your favorite holiday memory if you wish. That is optional. Do not e-mail me your entry or post on Facebook. Neither count. This giveaway is only valid for residents of the continental US only. Good luck!
